Battleship Tournament
On February 6, together with our partner @burulka.voda, we held a charity event titled "We play Battleship and raise funds for naval drones". The concept of this event was to hold a full-fledged tournament in the classic Battleship board game, with each player making a donation in order to participate. The tournament lasted for 4 hours, and the competition was very emotional and unpredictable. In total, about 30 students of our University took part in it. We would like to thank everyone who participated in this event, and congratulate the winners of the tournament once again on their victory. In total, we managed to raise UAH 4000, which was successfully donated to the UNITED24 fundraising platform to build a fleet of marine drones. Glory to Ukraine!

Bowling tournament
It has already become a good tradition to participate in sports competitions — students of Ternopil National Medical University took part in the Silver Cup bowling tournament and distinguished themselves with their agility and team spirit. This year, the qualifying stage was a blast at the Podolyany shopping center, keeping the tension and excitement alive throughout the event. Ten teams took part in the tournament, representing different years of study and faculties of TNMU. Five teams from the 5th year of the Faculty of Medicine, one team from the 6th year and four teams of international students demonstrated a true mixture of skill and thirst for victory. Competing in equal conditions, each of the five players of each team started the game at the same time, giving competitors equal chances. The game was played for the number of frames rather than time, adding an exciting element of strategy and patience. Each participant had ten frames to demonstrate their skills. The struggle was fierce, and with each team striving not only for victory but also for the opportunity to represent the University in the next stages of the tournament. The team from the Group 12 of the 6th year of the Faculty of Medicine, consisting of Vitalii Kobryn, Pavlo Trufanov, Bohdan Tsaruk, Andrii Kondratyshyn, Maksym Fik, made an impressive breakaway and won with a score of 527 points. The team from the 5th year took second place with 432 points, and the third place went to one of the international students teams. The winners enjoyed not only well-deserved recognition, but also a cake and the opportunity to represent the University at the next stage. The tournament determined the best among the TNMU bowlers, and also generated a lot of emotions and shared joy. The organizers would like to thank the administration of the Podolyany Mall for the opportunity to hold such a sporting event and give the participants an unforgettable leisure time. All participants were given a free skating session, and the winners received a well-deserved cake and the right to play for the honor of TNMU in the next stages. The winning team consisted of Vitalii Kobryn, Pavlo Trufanov, Bohdan Tsaruk, Andrii Kondratyshyn, Maksym Fik (MM-612). The tournament would not have been possible without the event's partners — the Silver bowling and billiards club, Tsukerka confectionery, and the Eskimos ice center. Their support added extra charm and pleasure to the event. The Silver Cup tournament was a great conclusion to the bowling season for TNMU students. Now their attention will turn to preparing for the next events and new achievements. We wish the teams further victories and exciting moments in the upcoming tournaments!
